There’s sometimes alot of pressure placed on our young people who live in broken homes. This is a sad and tragic news item. My thoughts and preayers to the victims and survivors.

So sad all I can do is shake my head such ashame it came down to this.

There needs to be some sort of outlet for all the youth that are going through tough times at home. Black men need to step up and provide guidance and mentorship to all the youth in our communities. In saying this, I also agree with blackbizman2008…

WTF is going on?

This something that very awful to read. As a single mother who was married for 18 years one can only hope that your kids will do well. As I said before in another article single mothers are not always single due to a man leaving them or never being there for them and their children it could be that, that man has died no differently than a woman. It may have been something more to this situation and it strongly appears that his child had psycholigical issues that was not discovered in times. I am sure that is nothing that his mother and younger siblings could have done that bad to warrant what tragic event took place in that home. I guess if it ever found out the reason for why this happened at that time then we can make the determination if he deserves what is really about to happen to him. My prayers definitely go out to this family how tragic

There is an underlying cause that the world will never know, only God knows the whole truth. This is so sad. My heart aches.

Failure and the notion of failure is what’s going on. The minds of troubled teenagers and young adults are raging with immense emotions and raging hormones. This is about having a man abandoning the family and the lack of a father figure. It’s also about needing help where there appears to none. The growing trend these days is inferiority. Especially seeing how life doesn’t offer goodness to so many who are trying, but saddened and struggling with self as well as poverty. This is not shocking in the least to me. For within living nowadays. There are really no positive influences, rolemodels, nor anyone guiding young confused mentals towards the better. Those that have a voice. Care to speak not or tend to use it for selfish personal gaines. We no longer live within the supreme teachings of to-each-one-teach-one. It’s more like or about the survival of the fittest. It used to be that it took a village or community to raise a child. Now the village is rundown, infeasted with darkness. The people don’t care unless it affects them in some way, shape or form. And tough living conditions continue to push most of many towards the edge of demise. It’s like the world is beyond filthy. It’s contaminated with fear and sheer pandemonium. Where tragedy hunts harmony. Peace sits alone, petified and brim beginnings end in same. We are losing our grip with compassion, love and sympathy. Though the reasons as to why he did will forever be unclear. Other teenagers experiencing simular or far worse situations are so ready to give up and seek death rather to face an existence of relentless suffering. I know because I’ve been there. My heart goes out to all those hurting whether deceased or living……….

I do not understand how he was expected to be ‘ the man of the house’ at 12. If the father was not around, he STILL can not be the man of the house. This is a very , very sad reality in communities, no matter how ‘rich’ or poor, violence IN the home is rampent. The MAyor of Coppell,TX killed killed he 19 year old daughter, then, herself. The girl THOUGHT she wasgoing to college, yet, her mother could NOT let go, & foiled all of her attempts.

LOOK AT THE NEW ARTICLE POSTED, THE MOM DID IT. She had told folks at times she wanted to kill her kids and set the house on fire….but no one ever reported her. So the boy never did it….even though of course it might have looked it cause he was always playing with fire.

This young man obviously was unstable, and should have gotten help earlier! He seemed to have an obsession with fire and that is not a good thing, especially when your setting fires at home, school, other places in community. How many tragedies have to occur before people wake up and get some of these kids help. This was a senseless tragedy that didnt have to happen!

This why we need to pray more for the young generation, and stop worrying about our own self…. This is who the devil is attacking. need to be praying for the other members of this family.

So sad. My heart and prayers go out to the family who lost generations.
