BREAKING NEWS: Police Brutally Beat 14 Year Old in Toledo

Inglewood police shot and killed a man who allegedly brandished a weapon early Sunday while officers were attempting to break up a birthday party, authorities said.
The shooting was the latest deadly incident involving Inglewood’s Police Department, which is under investigation by two outside agencies, including the U.S. Department of Justice, over its use of deadly force.
Police said officers responded to reports of a fight shortly after 12:45 a.m. in the 800 block of South Osage Avenue. Officers opened fire on Marcus Smith, 31, of Compton after he pointed a semiautomatic handgun at them, Lt. Mike McBride said.
“He had it in his hand. He drew it and pointed it in the direction of the officers,” McBride said. “So I would say that’s threatening the officers.”
One officer was shot in the right leg in the incident. He was taken to a hospital, treated and released, McBride said. Police suspect the officer was shot by Smith, but they need to conduct more tests on his gun to be sure, he said.
A woman who identified herself as Smith’s fiancee said she did not see him brandish a weapon. Kalonna LaCount said she and Smith were leaving the party together after police called on guests to disperse.
LaCount said she and Smith were walking down a stairway when Smith slipped. LaCount said she then saw Smith’s body jerk as police fired their weapons.
“He had his hands in the air,” she said. “The more he stumbled, the more they shot.”
LaCount said she was not certain whether Smith was armed or even owned a gun. LaCount, wearing a green dress stained with Smith’s blood, sat on the steps of the apartment building Sunday and wept as she recounted the moments before his death. LaCount said she and Smith had been together for 18 years and have three daughters, all under the age of 12.
Turning to her brother, Taqwa LaCount, she said: “He’s dead. Can you believe it? What am I going to do?”

This just go to show you that-cops everywhere has lost their damn mind…they shoot first & ask question later. I bet the officer who got shot will end up,being shot by the “SUPPOSE” to be Smith gun. If this man hand a gun & was in a fight,with someone else-why didnt he shoot that person? The cops will walk like always & this is nothing knew…the police know they can do anything & get away,with it. A 17year old boy who was run’ing away was shot & killed by the police-who claim he had a gun…and the officer walked. I know that-its people out here that,gang bang & do some wild s**t but,not all blacks carry guns. Everyone need a camera,with them at all time & a tape-recorder…so when cops act up,you got them to tape & camera & what can they say then? One thing you all have to remember, the police department is a legel gang, they are backed by the menipulation policy called (LAW) they can kill, beat, stick sticks and stuff in your ass,shoot you 50 times, kill a grandmother that can’t even walk,do a drug rade on anyone in our community eventhough you don’t sell drugs, anything they like because you are still a slave and suppose to be subjected to this kind of treatment. when are black men going to wake up to form their troops to fight back? not singing some bulls**t song we shall over come, or hold some candle light tea party,this is my question. we are busy buying rims that cost $2800 or better and still live in the PROJECT(s). our young have their pants down exposing thier asses so the powers that be do what they do make them into girls by PUNKING them out. I don’t undestand how we are living in 2009 and still think the law is going to work for Africans born in Amurdikkka. the KKK took off the white robes and put on the rob/pes of the judges, lawyers and police. and the bad thing about it is that there are black males and females that are in this gang and stand by and let it happen. It’s crazy, because I have seen different news reporters discussing this. Although his Uncle arrived, his Sister & he also was identified by his Fiance (Mother of his children). IMPORTANTLY: This BLACK young lady acknowledged this BLACK MAN as her soon to be HUSBAND. SHE FELT HE WAS A GOOD MAN, FATHER AND HUSBAND MATERIAL. Yet and still, he was simply labeled as a known gang member. Instead of a FAMILY MAN! When the crooked has to cover theirselves, they will call you everything but a child of GOD! You know what? In Matthew Chapter 6 in the Bible, there is a prayer. Part of it says, “Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors”. People will be forgiven according to how they forgive.
