one more note: I wanted to comment on the following quote in this article:

I respect Sharpton and the work he has done in the political realm, but I’m afraid science and technology may not be one of his stronger areas. We are in a 20 year cycle when hurricanes are naturally more intense. There’s an intermittent cycle of 20 years where hurricanes are more intense, followed by an approximate 20 years when they are less intense in some areas. A number of factors weigh in here. As for the increase in respiratory diseases, the oxygen levels in our bodies as well as the functioning of our lungs and blood content are too complex to simply make a direct correlation between temperature levels and disease. Even in the area of sun and skin cancer, there’s great debate as to whether the cause of deadly skin cancers is related to sun exposure or the lack of vitamin D in the body.

If you study the history of science, you will see instances of some egotistical, arrogant scientists pushing an agenda on the public. The food pyramid is a classic example. Also, don’t forget that scientists with egos have done experiments on african americans and other groups in the past. During the horrors of world war II, scientists conducted some diabolical experiments, some of which ended up benefitting people, but some which were based on faulty hypotheses. My point is that with the “science” called global warming aka climate change, arrogant scientists with an agenda have scared the public with the flawed “conclusion” that the world will fall into cataclysm because temperatures are warming. News flash: average temperatures will rise and fall over the centuries. They already know that thinking people who do their homework will immediately call their bluff. But they also know that the vast majority of people who don’t have either the will, ability or time to research, will blindly accept their conclusions as fact. Its funny how people who predict the end of the world on religious grounds are quickly dismissed, but these scientists are not. Just keep in mind that temperatures have only been recorded for 130+ years, but earlier methods were not as thorough as they are today. But 130 years is not enough time to be able to definitively make conclusions on weather trends. Question the statistical averaging methods. Is 130 years enough time to know that temperatures are rising to dangerous levels? Why not choose 500 years as a more accurate averaging time period? Just because a man wears a white lab coat and has the title “Dr” by his name does not make him God, and clearly the climate change “scientists” have a God complex. Surprise, surprise…
