Ok, I’ve waited four days now and apparently, nobody’s going to mention two very significant things about Amy Bishop, the lunatic biology professor down at the University of Alabama that went on a crazy shooting and killing spree:
- She is, very obviously, a terrorist.
- Of her three fellow professors that became her murder victims, two were Black, one was Indian.

The fact that Bishop had been denied tenure at Alabama has been the reason given for the Friday, February 12th outburst. Of course, since that Alabama campus shooting, which also injured three others, it has surfaced that not only did Bishop shoot and kill her then 18 year-old brother Seth in 1986, but she also allegedly sent a pipe bomb to one of her colleagues, Dr. Paul Rosenberg, at Boston’s Children’s Hospital in 1993!
Massachusetts police refused to charge the now 45 year-old Bishop in the murder of her brother 24 years ago, accepting her excuse that the shooting was a tragic accident, despite the fact that Bishop actually discharged the shotgun three times; once before she shot her brother and once after.
As for the pipe bomb incident, both Bishop and her husband were suspected, but the bomb never went off and no charges were ever filed.
What should also be of interest is that the fact that it has been said about Professor Bishop that she is a complete oddball that is absolutely “obsessed” with President Obama. One can imagine that as Amy Bishop continued to shoot, bomb and kill people with impunity, eventually this obsession might have played itself out with some horrific results.
Here are a couple of questions to ponder: exactly how many siblings are Black people allowed to kill before we’re jailed for eternity? Why are no new sites or Republican talking heads appropriately labeling this woman a ‘terrorist’?

First off, “Amy Bishop, the lunatic biology professor down at the University of Alabama that went on a crazy shooting and killing spree” opened fire methodically, aiming at the victims heads according to the Dean of the department who was credited with stopping Bishop before she was able to continue shooting. The opinion that Bishop is racist has no credible bounds, other than the fact that the 3 who were killed were non-white. Since Bishop was sitting at the table with the other 12 faculty members that day, i would conclude that the 3 who were killed were in close proximity to her and, consequently and unluckily, the first to be shot. Mentioning Bishop’s brother and Dr. Rosenberg only strenthen the argument that she is a violent and crazy woman, but since both her brother and Dr. Rosenberg are white, the racist argument fails here. Bishop is not a terrorist. She had no intent to influence political or religious agendas through violence; instead, she is a murderer who should have been charged with murder and, at a minimum, attempted aggravated assault (if not attempted murder for the pipe bomb incident) in the past. Failures of justice occured in the past which allowed her to be able to carry out these present murders. While it is a poignant point that typically a black person who had been involved in similar incidents would still be serving lengthy sentences today, that fact bears no importance to the storyline of “professor kills fellow faculty members”, which is the current news story. A family member of Bishop stated that Bishop was ““obsessed” with President Obama to the point of being off-putting” but, again, this has nothing to do with the fact that she was pissed off for being denied tenure and decided to take her anger out on other faculty members.
I would love to see more opinion articles which focused on the facts of news stories rather that exploiting the opportunity to write another piece about how the story translates into racism and politics.
Black Americans are smart enough to decipher the facts and get to the root of issues without needing to be ‘guided’ or ’schooled’ to racism and politics.

FNK—My young sista!! Time and Life have yet to visit you. Your comment speaks to the (with all do respect) the lack of our older generations willingness to give you the real. In a nutshell—on 911–violence hit this country–and for 8+ years this country has been handing back that violence five-fold. So if you think racism can’t fix racism..tell that to your government in a letter to Congress.(wait for that reply)—-Imho–Much of this is the result of our so called leaderships fear of striking out on our own—So that we can be in charge of our Education–Destination–and Future Generations…This site is loaded with stories of our own failures and the constant reminders that we will never be considered equally in this country. (AND) It’s o.k.–It’s time to move on..Starting with you. Don’t believe the hype!!!

I just thought y’allmight like to know that Bishop told her friends that she had a black ancestor.
I don’t know if it is true or not. She was known to always straighten her extremely curly hair.
Her facial features are not black, but the brother that she killed had some seemingly African-ish facial features.
She might be a racist, she might not. But the liberal media is going to let this story die off because they don’t know how to handle an extreme leftist going bonkers and killing her colleagues.

To FNK, I think you misunderstood the point the writer is trying to make
HE/she NEVER stated that no BLACK person has never killed their sibling..What the writer meant was…when a BLACK person kills, The COPS, LAW, DO NOT JUST TAKE THEIR EXPLANATION AND NOT CHARGE THEM..LIKE THEY did in the case of Amy Bishop.9 OUT OF 10 TIMES THEY are prosecuted, thrown in jail( sometimes for life, TREATED HARSHLY,by the judicial System. They receive no SYMPATHY,OR BENEFIT OF DOUBT…EVEN IF IT WAS AN ACCIDENT OR the person, who killed was Mentally ill. Bottom line WHITES are TREATED DIFFERENTLY by the LAW.If U DON’T BELIEVE then ur FOOLING YOURSELF, LIVING IN la-la land…Pleeeease WAKE up and come back to REALITY in AMERICA!!!
If Amy Bishop had been prosecuted for MURDERING HER BROTHER, then she wouldn’t have the chance to MURDER her fellow professors. She got away with MURDER THEN…Lets see what happens NOW!!!

I don’t know if you can call her a racist. She came into a faculty meeting and just started shooting. She shot almost ten people. The people that died, ended up being people of color. That doesn’t make her racist just really really crazy. And that university is gonna get the brakes sued off of them for employing somebody mentally ill.
A lot of yall are making some really ugly comments. Your opinion is your opinion but let me say this (my opinion). You can’t say that someone is wrong for doing something or being a certain way and then go and do the same thing. A lot of people are accusing white people of being racist and then saying racist things about them. Racism doesn’t fix racism. Being treated badly doesn’t give you the right to treat someone else badly. And thats what a lot of you are doing. Would you be okay is she said that she killed those people cause someone was abusive to her? I bet not. So don’t accuse white people of being evil and then say you would kill all of them if you could. Black people hate to hear this but racism is bad BOTH ways. Please go read the words of Dr.King
BTW. Someone said that no where is history has there been a black person who killed their sibling or have black people ever enslaved a group a people and force their religion on them. Thats not true. There are black people who have killed their siblings. Look it up. And do you remember the Jews being made into slaves in the bible? They were enslaved by the Egyptians and made to build their pyramids, remember that? Egypt is in Africa. We claim Nefertiri don’t we?
Evil doesn’t stop evil.
