First off, “Amy Bishop, the lunatic biology professor down at the University of Alabama that went on a crazy shooting and killing spree” opened fire methodically, aiming at the victims heads according to the Dean of the department who was credited with stopping Bishop before she was able to continue shooting. The opinion that Bishop is racist has no credible bounds, other than the fact that the 3 who were killed were non-white. Since Bishop was sitting at the table with the other 12 faculty members that day, i would conclude that the 3 who were killed were in close proximity to her and, consequently and unluckily, the first to be shot. Mentioning Bishop’s brother and Dr. Rosenberg only strenthen the argument that she is a violent and crazy woman, but since both her brother and Dr. Rosenberg are white, the racist argument fails here. Bishop is not a terrorist. She had no intent to influence political or religious agendas through violence; instead, she is a murderer who should have been charged with murder and, at a minimum, attempted aggravated assault (if not attempted murder for the pipe bomb incident) in the past. Failures of justice occured in the past which allowed her to be able to carry out these present murders. While it is a poignant point that typically a black person who had been involved in similar incidents would still be serving lengthy sentences today, that fact bears no importance to the storyline of “professor kills fellow faculty members”, which is the current news story. A family member of Bishop stated that Bishop was ““obsessed” with President Obama to the point of being off-putting” but, again, this has nothing to do with the fact that she was pissed off for being denied tenure and decided to take her anger out on other faculty members.

I would love to see more opinion articles which focused on the facts of news stories rather that exploiting the opportunity to write another piece about how the story translates into racism and politics.

Black Americans are smart enough to decipher the facts and get to the root of issues without needing to be ‘guided’ or ‘schooled’ to racism and politics.

I don’t know if it is true or not. She was known to always straighten her extremely curly hair.

Her facial features are not black, but the brother that she killed had some seemingly African-ish facial features.

She might be a racist, she might not. But the liberal media is going to let this story die off because they don’t know how to handle an extreme leftist going bonkers and killing her colleagues.

I don’t know if you can call her a racist. She came into a faculty meeting and just started shooting. She shot almost ten people. The people that died, ended up being people of color. That doesn’t make her racist just really really crazy. And that university is gonna get the brakes sued off of them for employing somebody mentally ill.

A lot of yall are making some really ugly comments. Your opinion is your opinion but let me say this (my opinion). You can’t say that someone is wrong for doing something or being a certain way and then go and do the same thing. A lot of people are accusing white people of being racist and then saying racist things about them. Racism doesn’t fix racism. Being treated badly doesn’t give you the right to treat someone else badly. And thats what a lot of you are doing. Would you be okay is she said that she killed those people cause someone was abusive to her? I bet not. I’m white. I agree that no black person would have walked on killing a sibling like she did. Neither would have a poor white person. Certain rich well-known families don’t get off like that either. Marlon Brando’s son did time for killing his sister’s boyfriend.
Amy’s educated family lived in a nice 2-story upper middle class, and her mom was politically well-connected. They weren’t well-known enough like the Brandos to attract a lot of attention.
Dr. Amy got briefly arrested. Had she spent at least 6 months in prison or a mental institution, the chance of recidivism might have diminished, even though I think Amy is just mean. Minister’s wife Mary Winkler only got a few months in the nuthouse, but that’s more than Amy got.

I know ONE THING for sure.. She probably WON’T get as Big of a sentence as the Minority Victims would’ve gotten had ONE OF THEM killed HER! I’ve watched MANY episodes of ‘Forensic Files’ (which is REAL ‘Reality’ and NOT BULL$#iT so-called ‘Reality’ like ‘Flava of Love’ or ‘I Love New York’) and one pattern I’ve noticed is, that MINORITIES get MUCH MORE SEVERE sentences for murdering WHITES than WHITES do for murdering MINORITIES! It’s a fact. Now.. Given the amount of Publicity that this incident is being given, she may yet, receive a tough sentence, as Publicity tends to make the ‘Wheels of “Justice”‘ turn more smoothly (sometimes). I’m not a racist, but I am VERY OBSERVANT when it comes to INJUSTICE/INEQUALITY! ;-)

P.s. there is this little thing called settings which enables you to switch language on your keyboard, go to control panel, clock, language and region, then change keyboard, that is if you dont already have a keyboard for a specific language, they do make them in other languages than English…
