Steele Apologizes to Limbaugh: Rush’s Takeover of GOP Complete

By Jonathan Weiler March 3, 2009 8:08 am

Well, that didn’t take long. Another Republican official, after having had the nerve to criticize the Grand Poobah himself, is now apologizing for having done so.

Michael Steele, the hapless Republican National Committee chairman, who briefly asserted his independence from Limbaugh Saturday night, now says he didn’t mean what he said. You can read the details here.

Michael Steele punked out! He called Rush the Boss out and then recanted his statement and stooped to apologize. I’m not a Steele fan but the man had his manhood challenged by a man who “wants the President to fail.” Never did Rush say he wanted the country to prosper only that Mr. Obama to fail. This idiot doesn’t realize the President works for the people of the United States. And Mr. Steele must realize that his party has the charge from their people to serve the people and NOT Rush the Boss. Mr. Steele please grow a set of balls made of steel. I saw him on D.L. Hugley’s show and gained new respect for him but now my respect has evaporated. Mr. Steele please pull your nose out of the Boss butt and lead your party the way you promised your Republican folks. I don’t agree in all your party’s beliefs but Dems don’t have a monopoly on great ideas. We need the two party system but don’t have an ass like Boss determine the kind of man you’ll be.

I wouldn’t get started on Steele vs LimburgerCheese just yet. Steele has a job description that puts him outside the debate over Obama being a success or not. His job is to put the GOP back together again, to compete for seats in 2010. Getting into a running little war of verbal raids and forays is not where he’s supposed to be. As for Limburger…, he’s an idiot, a bigot, a racist, and not as smart as he believes himself to be, which is where you attack him. You never attack to someone’s strength and power, always the weaknesses. That’s where Steele got off track, he let the hatred show, and Lil Rush got the excuse he needed to slap Steele around. Steele is a very smart guy. I’m sure he’ll figure out the best way for him to rein the man in and pin his ears back.

Steele is a bootlicker? Limbaugh is NOT the leader of the GOP. He is not even a Republican and MS knows it. He got caught up in the PC tactic of minimizing Rush’s INFLUENCE among CONSERVATIVE Republicans. I Steele had “stuck to his guns” he would be adored by the media and would be credited with “being his own man”.

Besides, Steele is only the GOP chairman. What about the houseboy who got elected, only to let “Miss Nancy and Mr Harry ” write the budgets. You can lik\ck Barack Obama’s butt all you want, but he is no different than Michael Steele. They both have their own boots to lick.
