THROWBACK: Vintage Oprah Moments
Oprah made the big announcement today that her long-running talk show is going to well… stop running. She seemed sad about it, choking back tears & all. I’m guessing her fans & the hundreds of authors & publishers who benefited from being in her good grace are sadder than us all.
But let’s not be sad! There’s one WHOLE new season filled with extended vowels, shouting at the top of your lungs, celebrities on couches and the most infamous: “Ladies, look under your CHAAAIIIIRRRRRR!!!!!”

no offense, but..why is everyone “mourning” the oprah winfrey show? It’s all over the news. Last time I checked, the show wasnt going to be over until 2011, and it’s 2009…..
ALL THINGS COME TO AN END. OPRAH HAS A GREAT DEAL OF POWER HER TALK SHOWS..WELL I STOPPED WATCHING A LONG TIME AGO, BUT MAYBE SHE CAN DO SOME GOOD FOR THE BLACK PEOPLE AT LARGE. HOWEVER THE SHOW THAT SHE AIRED WITH THE LADIES FACE BEING EATEN BY THE MONKEY……BAD BAD MOVE SOMETHINGS SHOULD NOT BE SEEN. AND THAT WAS ONE OF THEM.

Thanks so much for sharing..Oprah is a wonderful inspiration on what one can do with their life .Through the ups and downs,good and bad.She is an intelligent human being with lots of compassion..25 years? and still doing really good numbers?If she wanted to,she could possibly do another 5 years at her show and make it 30.But she knows what is best.Shes closing one chapter of her life and is getting ready to embark on a different journey.I wish her nothing but continued blessings.I had no idea that was Oprah at 17 singing..Wonderful..

Oprah has come a long way and no matter the rude and obscure comments people say about her I will always give her the props I feel she deserves.
