The GOP presidential candidate clearly said, “I don’t want to make black people’s lives better by giving them somebody else’s money,” during a recent campaign stop in Iowa.

But Santorum denied ever making the comment during an appearance on “The O’Reilly Factor,” The Huffington Post reports.

“I looked at that, and I didn’t say that,” Santorum told O’Reilly. “If you look at it, what I started to say is a word and then sort of changed and it sort of — blah — came out. And people said I said, ‘Black.’ I didn’t.”

And, even if he was referring to “blah people,” from which demographic do they come? Is this racial category (if “blah people” are a race at all) on the U.S. Census?

Give us a break, Rick.
