Ok, I’m going to make this really quick. I don’t believe that Osama had anything to do with 911. In fact, anyone with an ounce of critical thinking skills has known this for years. This Osama business has NOTHING to do with BHO’s re-election as he has already won. This has MORE to do with the proposed Pentagon cuts that the progressives, conservatives, and the tea baggers have chosen as their scape goats for the next election. Without all that money flowing in from the government to make weapons that will never be used, southern states will turn into the leaches they campaign against.

I don’t know if Osama has been killed and it really is irrelevant at this point in the game. Even if was responsible for 911 (which he wasn’t), he has succeeded in toppling this country. The defense dept has doubled in size, not even counting the 3+ wars we are currently engaged in. I say three because my definition of war is when we bomb s**t. I will celebrate in the streets when the war’s end, this might just extend it more. Osama is not the boogie man, the pentagon is…

Obama has impressed and stunned many of his naysayers who even remained silent again today. It is important for him to take this strong position with congress to get the economy moving again. He has proven his ability to multitask and make life-or-death decisions. I for one never thought I would see in my 40 years a black man given the opportunity to truly govern and be the unquestioned Commander in Chief of a world power. The GOP and the tea party will have to seriously regroup to present a worthy challenger at this point. Right before Obama took office, I opened a business and bought a house. I continue to struggle right along with everyone else. I can now report I am beginning to finally turn a small profit through all that sacrifice. I know some black people feel President Obama is too good to be true, but many of us who work in corporate America aren’t surprised at all. We have been waiting in the wings for someone like President Obama to open the door. As of today, President Obama has my vote.

Listen, in many ways, as a people, we are still the smartest people on earth. Most black folk woke up Monday morning to the same reality that they did the previous Friday morning. No job, looming foreclosure etc. etc. You have a few cheerleaders here who DESPERATELY needed news like this to make them feel good about voting him in back in 2008, and justification for voting for him again in 2012. If black people looked at shyt correctly, they would see they are WORSE off now than they were. Is that “his” fault? No! I’m not even saying don’t vote for him in 2012, but damn, if you’re going to vote for the man, then do so, put down the pom poms and hold the man accountable. Stop rejoicing in these fake azz victories and get the man to work on what he promised. No one is looking for a handout (except those NAACP negroes) but just level the playing field. I’m not even talking about for black folks, do it on behalf of poor and working class folks. But the fact is, that’s not his job. In fact he is actually doing a brilliant job. As long as that same media doesn’t report on the number of foreclosures these past two months, the number of banks closed these past two months, the incremental taxes being levied upon all Americans, the loss of more freedoms;

As long as that same media doesn’t tell you the repercussions of a failing currency or the consequences of another country buying US debt;

As long as that same media focuses on gay issues and gay rights without focusing on the rights of homeowners (white, black and hispanic);
