I always felt that bi racial people, who if mixed w/ African American, I still refer too as an African American, where only accepted by black society because of the fact that they were half white. Because these people had a “white side” which was considered pure and superior.

This Bi-racial term came out all of a sudden too, in my opinion, to reduce the African American or black population in America. If you’re mixed w/ an African race and a Caucasian race you are consider “bi-racial”. No longer African American as it once use to be, because again Caucasian would not accept them.

By all means its still a controversial issue. Because once upon a time ago if you were even 10% black, you were consider black.

President Obama, [We should get use to calling him by that and not just his first and last name] considers himself an African American, Black man. Being raised by his grandparents only helped him understand quickly that we are all human and there is no superior, but he always had views that usually were views of the average black man and he lived w/ the prejudice and discrimination of the average black man. He joined a predominately black educated church who’s views were similar to his. List goes on.

That’s just my point on it.
