Lol@187…I hate to even respond to someone calling himself mafia_boi, but i just feel compelled..The point of my post was to say 1)Obama needs to be smarter when making stupid comments in front of a hot mic, because people are not going to give him the “off the record” respect like they would other persons in his position and 2)A man in his position shouldn’t care so much about what’s going on at the VMA’s to diss Kanye like that because he might need him again to fool people like you into voting for him again in 2012!!

Obama was right, regardless if he’s Commander in Chief and the VMA’s don’t matter to the president. Anyone who disagrees is just as much a jackass as kanye. Yeah, he’s not getting any “off the record” love, but if we’re gonna get past the whole “black president” thing, let him be scrutinized and heraled just as any other president. Mistakes are mistakes, and victories the same. We can’t just say “hey, don’t do that just cause…” because then we’ll be in the same category as limbaugh, who says that white kids are getting beat up “just cause” we’re in an “obama america”. I DO agree that the “president” doesn’t have much say in the VMA’s, but as times progress, we gotta remember that some things will become more relevant. 2 presidents from now, we may very well vote for someone who’s been keeping up with real chance of love…but i hope not. lol

When Kanye came down the red carpet with a half full liter of Hennessey that should have cued folks that things might get out of pocket. We all know that folks say what’s on their minds while under the influence, especially if their brain has a “Oh hell no moment”.

I had never heard of Swift or heard that song she got an award for. But just to name a few,on YouTube, church sistahs, babies, fat white men, sports mascots, kids in the Phillipines, 100 women in Picadilly Square,a Jonas Brother and a sistah bangin her noggin on a TV sets to the Single Ladies jam/choreography showed how popular the video was. If you include all the satires there are millions of hits to the Single Ladies jam. It was internationally popular.

So I concure West’s brain even if it was under the influence. I know the first line of Single Ladies, I’d have to google Swifts to remember her first name and her award winning tune and forget about dancing to it.

Obama gets no points on his comment b/c when that stuff went down w/Gates and the cop, he commented on the cops behavior. There was no name calling.

He is a jackass… And frankly I don’t think the President was wrong for calling him one. Since when does Kanye get to pick who should win what? And whether or not more people have heard of Beyonce than Taylor Swift does not mean he was right to get up there and ruin her special moment. It does not justify his act and I just don’t understand the people who are backing him up on it. I mean how would you feel if it was your first time winning an award and somebody did that to you? I know Kanye wouldn’t like it if somebody did that same mess to him!
