The Gays already have domestic partnership rights, why do they have to have legal marriage? Legal marriage has a religiously moral counterpart that says “The bed is undefiled in marriage”. The Gays want a legal and religiously moral right to sodomy and other sexual perversion to be declared by the State. Gays want an undefiled bed of male on male sodomy and I’m not for it. Traditional marriage between a male and a female is the only marriage.

I am a black man and one that loves my neighbor, but I don’t have to accept or believe in what my neighbor believes in. Same sex marriage, no I will never accept it. Plus I didn’t vote for anyone that will accept it, so this person is not talking about all of us. If I stand with God, no man will I fear or accept who is against God.

Gay marriage and the fight for black civil rights are two different things. And I dislike the fact that the gay community is trying to make them out to be the same struggle. This is your fight so fight it. It does not equal to more than two-hundred years of oppression

Today, special interest groups woke up one day and decided to tell God that he was wrong by creating One Man and One Woman to populate the earth. Special interest groups have no respect for God’s creation. The homosexuals (Homosexual= a person who desires,craves and lusts to have sex with another person of the same sex) mission is to obey Satan and stop the marriage of a man and female and fill this planet with odd-spirited,demonic homosexual slaves to do the devil’s bidding because Satan hates mankind. The homosexuals know the Holy Bible but they trick the people who are in power to create laws that will be in favor of homosexual behavior. If you are a famous person, it’s just means that you are just a famous gay,perverted person with a demonic spirit God hates and will judge you for it.

I disagree with same sex marriage.

I don’t believe in gay marriage but I think gay people have the law on their side with this. The 14th Amendment has an Equal Protection Clause which requires states to provide equal protection under the law to all people within their jurisdictions. When the state issues a marriage license, it is not affirming any religious doctrine or believe; it is establishing certain legal rights and protections for both parties. There are about 1800 laws that govern marriage as it pertains to the law and it is legal for two individuals to have a lawyer draw up a contract to incorporate them. This is what Civil Unions do. If you argue this from a religious perspective then you’ll lose because it is against the law to project one’s religious beliefs on another. It is easier to deal with what is socially acceptable and that is where the gay marriage debate stalls because most people don’t find that idea acceptable. But if you are not willing to create a law that bans gay relationships then it is discrimination as social norms change over time. It may not be on par with Blacks fighting for their Civil Rights – but as long as the issue is about equal protection under the law – then gay marriage is indeed a civil rights issue.

The majority of blacks will never ride with gay marriage!

There is no such thing as Gay sex. Its SODOMY! Sex is between a man and a woman! No such thing as two males or two females marring! ITS Sodomy!

IamyourGod…your response raps this debate up nicely. I think Gay citizens are biting off more than they can chew (or even need to chew). Their demands are just starting to seem irrational and demanding just for the sake of it.
