Not suprising….Supposed “Christian right wingers” (and yes the Klan believes that crap) bombed a church with four little girls in it! What I find so intriguing is that there are more BLACK christians than any other ethnic group globally, and that most of these folk have a lame a$$ed “turn the other cheek” mentality and what’s even more is that some of these folks will defend these misguided philosophies to the hilt. Don’t get me wrong, there are some people that need some control in their life and maybe their knowledge of the bible stops at the moment that church is dismissed, thankfully there are cats like the ones who have mentioned tha accompanying verses. Once you really start researching you’ll find that a lot of what it has to say is actually rooted in a lot of pagan rituals that started with the dawning of mankind. That being said, you now know why I think that religion has been instrumental in achieving equality, but since the civil rights movement it has left blacks back in the 20th century, whilst the rest of the world continues to move on. Anyhow, church and state are supposed to be SEPARATE, and this is a good reason why it should be!

The worse thing you can do is take God’s word out of content. I am in agreeance with 33ab33. You must read the entire book. This is something that Obama would be saying to God about these people. If you read the entire Chapter, which is a Plea for Judgment of False Accusers, Obama could very well have this prayer against his accusers. It speaks of his request for the Lord to help him and his accusers may know it is His will (vs. 26), not Obama’s. “Let my accusers be clothed in shame.” (vs. 29) ” You, O God the Lord, Deal with me for Your names sake (vs.21) Only God can deal with/judge. So all will be well.

Why wouldn’t they include verse 9. It completes the thought of the statement. That’s one of the reasons why ppl can’t understand the bible, they take out 1 part of whatever they need and leave the rest.
