people keep asking what President Obama has done. here is just one thing that no one seems to have yet realized. in 8 months. 8 months… he ended the recession. the same recession that didn’t get made public until right before his election. the same recession that, if he fixed, was suppose to gaurantee him a second term in office. we have moved out of recession and into recovery. that is ONE thing he’s done in 8 short months. now that’s not a WORLD WIDE nobel Prize thing. but it should at least be appreciated by americans… of either party. oh, and on the world wide scale… according to a source that i cant recall (from fort knox or something), if Barack had not rushed the legislation the way he did for the stimulus, the ENTIRE GLOBAL ECONOMY would likely have collapsed. that’s not Peace Prize, but it’s World Wide. just look all this up online to confirm.

For all the naysayers…..He won it because for the first time in any modern American presidency has a President made 98% of the WORLD feel there is some real chance of peace. The Republicans don’t like it, and will never win it because the world sees them as people who want the world submissive to them. For 8 years the world saw America as war mongers for starting a war in Iraq. We used the pity points from 9/11 to attack Iraq when we should have gone full blast into Afganistan where Osama was. When was the last time you saw the WORLD jumping for joy at a U.S. President being elected.? Enough said!

I think improving our image and standing in the world goes along way toward peace. If you remember correctly, Bush took us to war based on evidence that there was a nuclear threat. Rather than take us to war with Iran, Bush used to DIPLOMACY to force the Iranians to the table and gain the inspectors access to their facilities. Meanwhile, he’s manage to quell some of the war rhetoric coming out of NK. Couple that with removing weapons from Poland that the Russians perceived as a threat and this President is making real headway toward an America that actually uses diplomacy. These things are monumental accomplishments. Other than that I don’t see what else he could do. The Palestinians and Israelis are bent on killing each other. Any other president would have increased our troop presence in Iraq when we had a flare up in June. And rather than automatically overrun Afghanistan to prove America’s might, he’s sent his military back to the drawing board to figure out a solution that doesn’t include 100k more troops in the country.

The President is to be applauded and that’s what Nobel Prize group have done. They are applauding his effort. As I don’t know who else was being considered its hard to say whether President Obama’s accomplishment truly measure up.

1) so 10% of unemployment which is the highest ever. The real unemploymeny rate is actually 20%.

2)Homelessness have increase tremendously.

3) Home foreclosure rate is 10,000 homes a day.

4) inflation is staggering

5) Real interest rate is so low in order to stimulate the economy. yet, its not working except in wall street.

6) poverty level especially among kids is dramatically high.

7) the price of oil is up.

8) the gap between the rich and the poor just expanded largely while your president is only in office for 10 months.

9) the deficit is in the slavery level.your federal government is bankrupt.the debt to the federal reserve will take thousands of years to pay off.

10) State budgets are falling by the waist side= no jobs.

now give me economic points that show recession is over. Please dont tell me you have a Benz or a Beemer and money to make it rain therefore recession is over.

He really hasn’t done any significant to receive it, but I’m afraid the expectations that goes along with the award will put a lot of pressure upon him during his Presidency. I am for Barack Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize. It’s a wonderful opportunity to place him in the spotlight. It’s a positive recognition. Maybe, people will focus on the right things. Barack Obama is only one person. Bills have to pass through the Congress and the Senate. Maybe, it will stop some of the in house fighting and focus on politics. People are now opposed to group healthcare when Hillary Clinton wanted healthcare reform. People are entitled to his/her opinion. This is the only time when I’ve seen a President openly disrespected. Schools don’t want children to see his speeches, and being called a liar when making a speech. He’s still President of the United States. That title deserves honor and respect.

The problem with us is WE ONLY SEE RACISM PERIOD. thats not the only problem we have and not the only thing that we should focus on. We always react when a white man or woman do something or say something. you think they care? NO!!! because youre beneath them and they know that youre constitutional right doesnt exist. Like I said when was the last time youve read the CONSTITUTION? the PATRIOT ACT? HOMELAND SECURITY ACT?

Being related the Dick Cheney might help just a little. Working as an intern for Henry Kessinger might give a little rocket fuel to ones law career as well. Barack was groomed for this job.
