I’ve been reading the comments on here. I agree and disagree. First, I agree that what he said was foul, but I disagree that it’s not a black-white thing. Because there were white protesters outside of his church. But, people failed to mention how the pastor’s disrespectin’ Senator Ted Kennedy’s memory. You should never disrespect or disgrace a person’s memory like that, no matter how you feel about him. He had family and friends who loved him just like anyone else. And, people in his field who had a great deal of respect for him. Plus, you shouldn’t wish death on anybody, like one person commented earlier, it only leads to the destruction of you. He’s sitting up wishing Obama gets brain cancer and dies. He could mess around, get sick and die himself. I didn’t like Bush when he was office, in fact, I thought he was the worst president I’ve seen in my lifetime. But, I never wished for his or any of his cabinet members’ deaths. And, the pastor is failing to realize that he reaps what he sows. He sits up and wishes for Obama’s death, and now he and his family are getting death threats. You may not be threatin’ to assianate anybody but wishin’ for another human life to be taken is morally wrong. It’s idiots like this that have so many people turning against our Father and organized religion. Our Father God, Lord Jesus, would never want us to pray for someones death. If you disagree with someone’s view, that’s fine, you have that right, however, as a Christian, you should pray for them to find their way, not for them to die.
