I remember battling a guy on Youtube about this video. His contention was because these guys “looked intimating” they must have been actually guilty of voter intimidation. These guys never once told anyone to vote for or against any candidate. Definition of voter intimidation is defined as follows: “Voter intimidation involves putting undue pressure on a voter or group of voters so that they will vote a particular way, or not at all. Absentee and other remote voting can be more open to some forms of intimidation as the voter does not have the protection and privacy of the polling location. Intimidation can take a range of forms.”

I defy anyone to watch that tape and show me when anything remotely close to this definition took place.

They still haven’t sorted out the Miami-Dade incident in Florida where Bush stole the election…

I don’t believe this. Your article is stupid and full of lies and accusations. There is no evidence that the Panthers intimidated the whites at the voting polls. Historically, anytime you see a black man in the position that the Black Panther was in that day- you feel intimidated yourself – your own self intimidation because you are supposed to fake being afraid of Black men. That is the white American way. I do not believe that the Obama administration will not bring cases against minorities, If they have committed a crime in their jurisdiction, they will. That is just your way of getting attention. Whites just live to prosecute blacks for anything they themselves can make up against the Blacks. Whites have always lied because they can. @perfect992 the article is fairly straight forward reporting by the NY Times about a Justice Dept. lackey from the Bush Administration that is no longer there. I agree he’s wrong, but the article is fine.

What’s missing from the story is an understanding that in a predominantly Black election precinct, the winners are most likely going to be Black candidates and the White people that live in the area are most likely going to vote for them. Why? Because the White people that live in the area want the candidate that is going to do the best job for the people of the area. More jobs, better schools, more public amenities impact all people of the community regardless of skin color. How do I know this? My State legislators (Senate & Assembly) and my Congressional Representative are all Black in an area that is predominantly Black and I voted for them as did most of the White people in the area. (Correction, I didn’t vote for my Congressional Representative, I voted for another Black candidate that lost.)

Whoever came up with that one is so pathetic, plain and simple! Even with Obama in office they still control everything, yet they are not satisfied! The proof of that is that the republicans still have a hand and say in major decisions such as unemployment being extended to the unemployed. Obama wants to exend it; the republicans are causing the delay! They need to get a real life!

Voter intimidation is what happened down in Miami-Dade County. Cops standing outside the polling places in black neighborhoods was wrong and criminal. The cops didn’t stand outside the polling places in the white neighborhoods. This is another attempt to smear our black president.

Looking at the photos above makes me only think that “white folks” have too much time on there hands. Could this be the reason why so many of them are in the unemployment and foodstamp lines now? Hmmm just wondering.

Voters in West Philladelphia were given fliers stating that those with outstanding warrants will be ” Arrested” when they went to go vote. Of Course this is illegal to do and it wasnt the NBPP that was responsible for voter intimidation.

IT WAS THE WHITE PEOPLE WHO SENT THE NOTICES OUT TO WEST PHILLADELPHIA RESISDENTS WHO WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR VOTER INTIMIDATION!!!

Those ‘flash’ presentations, which NEWS ONE uses, are not only on this site, there are a variety of sites using that same code, with the same photos. News one just plugs the code into their website. I’ve seen this on a variety of other sites with completely different formats and themes, which the other ones are not necessarily ‘black’ sites.

well i have no hate in me for race or color…..if this is what this site called NEWSONE wants to instill in me then they are losing the battle…..lol…..we already know white people cry over everything…stale news….its not hate its understanding….i was watching THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW and this little 5 yearold white girl associated everything dark with bein bad and then this little 10 yearold black girl didnt care if the person was black or white……blacks arent that racist as it may seem…we are just oppressed by racists and forced to retaliate and show our inner hate towards oppression based on the fact that we can identify our oppressor and retaliate in their direction, where they at and who they are. they are not only whites, some are from other countries such as china, and india and arabia that dont like blacks. we are too strong for them and thats why i have no hate for them cas they cant do much to us but gripe and moan and hate.
