“It’s not calling people a ho. It’s just like they say, ‘Oooh that ho is big,’ or, ‘That ho is tight!’” said Lakita Evans, the restaurant’s owner.

The 23-year-old worked her way through college to open her burger joint and said the name is mostly a bit of humor in an otherwise serious world.

“Look what’s going on in Japan. It’s like clear this world is not gonna get any better. Why cry and be depressed? The economy is bad. Somebody gotta keep a sense of humor around here,” Evans said.

The movie is already being compared to hip-hop mockumentaries such as “CB4″ and “Fear Of A Black Hat” and “Hollywood Shuffle.” Several people have praised the “Monkey Gang” online. Such as IceDotCom who wrote:

Even though this is pretty funny, the sad thing is…it’s pretty damn accurate to today’s current state of rap music. So while you’re watching you gotta ask yourself: how bad has rap music become for it to be this much of a parody of itself?

This looks incredible, I think this clearly goes to show that rap & hip hop is going through a transitional period where, DVD’s and crews like this are slowing becoming a thing of the past and subject maters within the genre are being a lot more varied and vast!

This mockumentary trailer is ridiculous, but not exactly too farfetched in comparison to what material makes its rounds on certain gangsta websites.  In fact the fake song “I Sell More Crack Than You” sounds a lot like THIS REAL ONE.   Notice the not too subtle shots at Baby and Lil Wayne in the middle of this video.  I can’t believe this is only a trailer…they really plan on making a full-length film out of this?

With a name like Johnny Lee Clary, your life choices from birth are basically limited to “professional wrestler” or “KKK Imperial Wizard.”  Johnny Lee Clary dared to dream and became both.
As good an ol’ boy as good ol’ boys get, the guy led his Oklahoma Klan chapter through cross-burnings, threat campaigns, and even church arson for the better part of a decade.  The entire time, he constantly harrassed NAACP leader Reverend Wade Watts, who would turn out to be the Roadrunner to his Wile E. Coyote, spoiling and thwarting his racist tactics time and again, usually in hilarious ways.  Clary eventually left the Klan, became a minister, befriended Watts, and was even invited to preach at the church he had once tried to burn down.  In this talk show clip, Clary describes his run-ins with Watts while he was still a Klansman.  They’re actually very funny, especially the last one that finally made him give up on going after the reverend.

The comedian who kept NBC viewers entertained on Thursday nights well after “The Cosby Show” was gone will salute Bill Cosby when he receives the nation’s top humor prize.

Jerry Seinfeld will honor Cosby on Oct. 26 with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington.

The center announced the lineup Thursday and says the event will be broadcast nationally Nov. 4 on PBS.

Seinfeld will be joined by Chris Rock, “Cosby” co-stars Phylicia Rashad and Malcolm-Jamal Warner and others.

The 72-year-old Cosby already received the Kennedy Center Honors in 1998 and a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2002.
