Washington — Rep. Maxine Waters will try to turn the tables on the ethics committee Tuesday by calling on the House to launch an investigation into the panel’s suspension of two staff lawyers, including the lead attorney in the pending case against the California Democrat.
Washington D.C.–Two attorneys for the House ethics committee have been placed on indefinite “paid administrative leave” stemming from serious problems within the secretive panel.
WASHINGTON— California Congresswoman Maxine Waters is scheduled to go on trial Monday before an ethics panel. The Democrat is accused of trying to obtain a U.S. bailout for a bank where her husband owns stock.
