Buchanan promoted the book on the “The Political Cesspool” a white supremacist radio show hosted by James Edwards, who referred to Buchanan as “our mutual friend” in an open letter to Ron Paul.

The circumstances of Mr. Buchanan’s departure are unclear, but he has not appeared on the channel since October, when he began promoting his book, “Suicide of a Superpower: Will America Survive to 2025?” The book conveyed Mr. Buchanan’s concerns about the effects of demographic changes in the United States, including what he called “the end of white America” and the shrinking of the “European and Christian core of our country.”

A number of statements in the book were seized upon by liberal groups, who pressured MSNBC to either sanction or fire Mr. Buchanan. In his essay Thursday on the Web site of The American Conservative, a magazine he co-founded, Mr. Buchanan cited Abraham H. Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League, an influential Jewish organization, and wrote, “What Foxman and A.D.L. are about in demanding that my voice be silenced is, in the Jeffersonian sense, intrinsically un-American.”

Buchanan has not appeared on MSNBC since October of 2011 and MSNBC President, Phil Griffin says that it was due to his book “Death Of A Superpower,” which contains a chapter called “The Death of White America.” Buchanan took heat when he appeared on the white supremacist radio show, “The Political Cesspool” to promote the book.

The s”The Political Cesspool’s” host, James Edwards who has strong ties to several white supremacist movements called Buchanan a mutual friend of his and GOP political candidate, Ron Paul and cited Buchanan’s response to the controversy as a way for Paul to deal with possible media reaction to Paul’s campaign’s scheduling of an appearance on the show in 2006.

“Look, for a long period of time the hard left, militant gay rights groups, militant — they call themselves civil rights groups, but I’m not sure they’re concerned about civil rights — people of color, Van Jones, these folks and others have been out to get Pat Buchanan off TV,” Buchanan continued. “This has been done for years and years and years and it’s the usual suspects doing the same thing again.”

D.C.’s unemployment rate is 11.1 percent, which is higher than the national rate of 9.1 percent, but still lower than some of the hardest-hit states, such as Nevada. The District is also home to extreme poverty. Some nearly all-black wards of the city face Depression-era unemployment levels. Buchanan suggested a solution to the disproportionately high national unemployment rate among African Americans, now at 16 percent:

“One thing I would do is stop immigration into the country until all unemployment is down to 6 percent,” he said. “We’ve got to start putting our own people first.”

He contends that African Americans have embraced “great society liberalism” to their detriment and doing so has contributed to high numbers of black kids born out of wedlock and low high school graduation rates. Buchanan went on to say that he applauds the accomplishments of Cain because he went against the grain by succeeding as a tough black businessman in the face of adversity in a tough world.

MSNBC analyst and former GOP presidential candidate said yesterday that he didnt mean to slur President Obama with his “your boy” comment on the Al Sharpton show.

Both Sharpton and Obama were discussing the president’s strengths when he told Sharpton that “your boy” has caved in on political negotiations before.

“My what?” Sharpton responded. “My president, Barack Obama? What did you say?”

Buchanan, using a boxing analogy, answered that Obama was “your boy in the ring.”

When former Republican Presidential candidate Pat Buchanan said “America has been the best country on earth for black folks” and “no people anywhere have done more to lift up blacks than white Americans”, you can be sure that he believed every word.

As recently as 2004, the typical Black family earned only 58% of what the typical white family earned, a full 5% less than the percentage of white income that a Black family earned way back in 1974.

Even if the Blacks and whites are similarly educated, the white male still out earns the Black male by 30%.

The Black poverty rate, though down considerably since the early 1990s, was at a still astonishing 24.7% in 2008.

Among the myth-based mindsets that even non-virulently racist whites can’t seem to shake is that welfare is a predominantly Black phenomenon.

Meanwhile, most Blacks know by now that purely from a gross numerical standpoint, way more whites are on welfare than Blacks.

Add to that the fact that white America’s awe for white wealth—regardless of its source—doesn’t extend to Black wealth.

Mafia members, bootleggers and stock market fixers are all respected for their ingenuity and only loathed when they get caught.

This is the reason that Bernie Madoff could run his fraudulently-gotten gains up to 65 billion but 5 grams of crack will get a Black kid 5 years mandatory the very first time he gets busted.

So why are so many Black people poor?

Well simply stated, the “Buchanan mentality” becomes a daft exercise in the worst kind of circular logic, allowing whites to feel guiltless  about not hiring even the most qualified Blacks because somewhere in their minds, they think that Blacks always have welfare to fall back on, meanwhile Buchanan “types” simultaneously work to reverse affirmative action and nearly exterminating welfare altogether seemingly, one might think, just because Blacks have been so ungrateful after all that white people have done to help.
