Thats not accurate…I remember a 9 yr old girl who ran away with her boyfriend and was pregnant..I saw that on the news like 8 yrs ago..and I know a girl who was pregnant at 11 here..so how is this news worthy?

She isn’t the first eleven year old to have a baby and unfortunately she isn’t going to be the last. In american society and also in other countries this happens everyday as if it is the norm. I can speak for many parents when I say we must keep a better watch on our children. There is no way shape or form that my daughter would even be around a nineteen year old male which makes me question her parents. I am glad to know the baby and the eleven year old mother is doing fine but we must start to bring awareness to this type of issue. She will never be able to enjoy being a child now she has to raise a child when infact she is a child herself. It is a sad story that many young women are living everywhere.

Why can’t kids just be kids for awhile. Even though I’m only 23 years old, I did not really think about sex much until age 16. These kids nowdays grow up way too fast. American culture does not help any. Wow 11! I had my son at 24 and still what like WOW this is a lot of responsibility! I could never imagine not being able to do all the things i did before I had my child. Not to excuse the guy or the act of having sex with a minor, but he did say he thought she was older. A quick Google search tells me that the age of consent in Bulgaria is 14, and he thought she was 15.

I would say that the parents need to be locked up and put on trial as well, but then who’d help her out with the baby? Besides, this is the sign of the end times as we know it. I’ve known for MANY years now that a girl as young as 9 years old (on average) has the necessary reproductive organs intact to make a baby! It’s truly (to quote Prince) a ‘Sign of the Times’ that the age girls are having babies is in fact getting lower and lower. Keep in mind tough, people, that although YOUR GOVERNMENT (U.S.) may Dictate to YOU what to think is an ‘Appropriate’ age for consent, ALL governments DO NOT feel the same way. The legal age of consent is as young as 13 in some other countries. I know that’s not the case in THIS situation, but it’s just a little-known fact that I thought I’d share with those intelligent enough to handle it. Parents scared of their own children. All because society don’t want to administer some sort of discipline that will teach these kids right from wrong. No child is expected to be 100% perfect, but some of these statistical issues like adolescent/teen pregnancies, rape, murders, etc. could be HUGELY minimized if some of these adults take the time to lay down the law on these kids and for the courts to stop giving a wink and a nod each time these kids stand before them after doing something STUPID to land them in court. It’s called TOUGH LOVE. Tough love= responsibility

There is a lesson to be learned by parents and future parents. There are a lot of naive parents out there who are in denial that their children are not having sex. I believe that parents should talk to their kids about sex when they reach puberty. You shouldn’t wait til your daughter gets pregnant and say I didn’t think she was having sex.

Over there the women grow up really fast. I know this for a fact. No matter the ethnic makeup of a place if you have rampant poverty, you’ll have faulty education (especially sex education). Outside of Sofia it’s pretty rural over there. I find his denial hard to beleive with these two questions; What grade was she in as at eleven yrs old, they were not is the same grade unless he is special or she is advance for her grade?
