Obama Wrote Personal Letter To North Korea’s Kim Jong Il

President Obama has written a personal letter to North Korean leader Kim Jong Il that was delivered by the administration’s special envoy for North Korea during a visit to Pyongyang last week.

The existence of the letter has been closely held, with the administration insisting to its partners in disarmament talks with North Korea that it not be publicly discussed. State Department and White House officials confirmed this week that envoy Stephen W. Bosworth delivered a letter from Obama for Kim, but they declined to describe its contents.

“We do not comment on private diplomatic correspondence,” said White House National Security Council spokesman Mike Hammer.

Bosworth artfully evaded reporters’ queries about the letter in Seoul last week, after he left North Korea. Asked whether he had brought a letter, he sidestepped the question, saying: “As for a message to the North Koreans from President Obama, in effect, I am the message.” Reporters in Asia then reported that he had denied he had carried a letter.

    For you idiots that didn’t know the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wrote a letter to Bush and his administration during the beginning of the Iraq war and Bush diliberatly blew him off everytime. The letter was about talks of peaceful resolutions at the time. This was way before talks of the US waging war and sanctions against Iran. Was Bush and his administration planning a future war against Iran at the time? Why do you think Iran is building up nuclear defense right now just in case?

    They’re taking a black man now (our President Barak Obama) to try and restore peace talks with N. Korea and Iran which is very difficult now because of what Bush and his administration did in the past. I wish people would stop being so dumb and open their eyes to what’s really going on.

    Of course Iran didn’t want to hear what Barak Obama had to say right now because things already went bad with the Bush administration. This could be the very beginning of a World War III and who would you blame?

    Seeing as how the power struggle has shifted in my country, I now have the power to do as I please. The first on my list is to convince you to power down your nuclear arsenal. Why should you trust me? Because we are both n****rs, need I say anything more? So lets piss these super conservative white folks off who thought I’d lead the country into ruin. I could generate mass revenue for you if you allowed your country to be open for tourism. Just saying. Peace
