Some things go unanswered bcuz Jehovah God wants us to take a chance and rely on Him and trust Him to endure our situations. Well it IS true! Man did write the bible! The men that God lead through the Holy Spirit inspired these men that He has chosen to write down in hebrew language for everyone on this earth as an instruction or guide book for us to live our lives according to His will. But guess what? Everyone on earth doesn’t speak the same languages due to Jehovah God dividing the ppl that were trying to build a temple of Babbel up to the heavens (as a form of disrespect to Jehovah God) and thus now everyone speak different languages. So in order for Jehovah God to make sure that all those that speak different languages have the same meaning of what the bible is intended for, the hebrew language had to be translated to fit those specific ppl that spoke the language. And if anyone knows anything about how the formation of language began. Some of the english words are adopted from other countries’ words. So in that essence, Jehovah God made the men and women in his book (who were Jewish so in the essence, they were white men with a tinge of color in their skin), to communicate to us His motives for this earth and for our lives.

Now the believing of the scriptures is totally upon its readers. If you have a sought out heart for the truth, an opened mind and just a muster seed of faith, Jehovah God can reveal things to you in His Word as you become closer to Him in Spirit. That’s one of the reasons why Jesus is called the Living Word bcuz He pretty much spoke, taught and showed ppl the same thing in the bible thru His actions. As far as the question you asked about “do you really believe everything that you read”? No, but if it’s spiritually enlighting, then yes. I believe in something far more far and beyond and magnificently devine than what I see with my carnal eyes. And I definitely beleive in Jehovah God. I think and this is only my opinion so people reading this do not get offended. I believe that God is trying to get peoples attention, alot of times people don’t acknowledge God period, than when a situation as this arises the first thing they say or think is why would God allow it to happen. Maybe its a wake up call, I don’t know. Maybe he wants people to realize that he is God and that he wants to be recognized. Personally me after that first Sunami a few years ago, if I wasn’t a believer in God I would have became one quick fast in a hurry. I also believe that the bodies they found so far alive are the ones of the Christians in Haiti. Just for the record God is not mean. One last thing I am greatful for the children and people that survived, not to be selfish but in america we have so much suffering such as homelessness and children looking for homes, I am greatful for those that can and did help so far, but please don’t forget about the children that has been sitting in foster homes and adoption homes since they were babies, they need love and attention just as much. If I were able to afford to send money or take children in I would start at home first. The old adage goes charity starts at home and works its way abroad. The most I can do right now is help send food, water and clothes.

Haiti has always had a geological SLIP-FAULT .Hurricane Experts have always said that if a Hurricane strikes New Orleans it would be a catastrophy .We now that if conditions are correct to produce Tsunami, Mass loss of life will take place in regions close to the oceans .We know what may happen if we are struck by asteroids .We know what may happen to surrounding villagers of a volcano.We have been giving ample opportunity to know a many things about this fascinating , beautiful and sometimes dangerous world . This is not a God did anything situation , however if it wasn’t for this tragedy a lot of us wouldn’t even think about Haiti or other similar circ**stances, Haiti had problems way before this and many of us turned a blind eye or didn’t know or didn’t care, but we all know can do something now and Not blame God . If we were to all stop sinning right now, and refrain from sinning, not one bit of chaos would continue because Satan would have no fuel. But we know that’s not going to happen, which is why Jesus will establish His reign over the governments of man at some point. Until then, He is allowing sin to reach is maximum (which the Bible says), and then He will break up the full-grown yeast of wickedness forever.

As for the notion that Christianity caused past calamities and great evils in history, re-read what I just mentioned above. Also, there are some figures in history, unknown to those who don’t research outside of the partial-truth propaganda taught in schools, who have masqueraded as the Church to make the Church look bad, then had their historians later cover up this fact, but leave the blame against the Church. The suffering we see today and throughout history is brought about by the ongoing constant struggle on Earth between the forces of evil and good. Meanwhile, the forces of good seek to lead mankind to the only portal of salvation: the Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus the Christ.
We witness the battle that rages daily. We are targets of demonic powers as well. And the Earth itself is under great strain due to the spiritual struggle that dominates its landscapes.
God’s grace and mercy allows us time to come to Him and be saved. During such time, many will suffer. Suffering was a curse Christ bore as well in order to achieve His mission: the Plan of Salvation for all mankind who would believe in it.
God doesn’t wish that any of us will suffer the fate He has in store for those who war against Him. Our focus ought not necessarily be on just this life, but the one thereafter. That’s where God is seeking to save us from a fate worse than death.
The opportunity for salvation in the realm beyond death is on this side of it … in this life. Once we enter the transition of death, we do so already having made a choice. When we emerge in the spiritual realm, we will either be subject to the same fate that awaits the demons who war against God or we will find life in the salvation of Jesus, who intercedes on our behalf.
When we accept the belief that our souls have been saved by a Messiah who loves us, we willingly serve Him with our lives in the flesh. He simply asks that we love one another as we love ourselves and as He loves us. Reaching out to others in selfless acts of kindness and generosity is part of the character of one who is grateful for having been spared horrendous consequences. Loving others beyond ourselves and putting others before our own desires is characteristic of those who feel grateful to a God who has given us new life in a new world, despite our failures in this one.

First of all we live in a fallen world. This is no longer Eden and it surely isn’t heaven. We cannot fathom how far away from heaven this planet is. God’s ways are not our ways, his thoughts are not our thoughts. There are things in this infinite universe we can’t even imagine and here we are attempting to argue the existence of God with our limited understanding. Man’s knowledge, wisdom and understanding is limited to this planet, that’s it! Just because man does not believe there is a God doesn’t mean the creator isn’t real. The greatest deception the evil one has pulled off is to convince mankind that he doesn’t exist. The great seduction. Man has been seduced by the one who wanted to be God since the beginning and he continues to sift us like wheat. i have to disagree with this writers opinion. i do respect athiesit (i am not one i am a chirstian) but i respect them becauses since the bible was written by man, there is plenty of room for error and personal gain such as the catholic church. there is no reason to rationalize what happend in hati, childeren suffering and dying so the rest of the world can come togeather, what about that child that just died?? there are some things that we can explain, some things are of god and some things are of man the only thing i can say is to take charge and full responsibility of the things u can control and ask god help for the things u cant.

God made man in His image but man is always trying to make God in his likeness. The Roman Catholics did not write the bible. In fact they persecuted Christians before Rome decided Christianity could be used as a tool of exploitation. They twisted the word of God (in their minds)just as the Europeans and the founders of this country did to justify the oppression and genocide they perpetrated on people of color. The bible was inspired by God to His people. The people of the way. A people who came from Africa and spent 40 years in the desert.

This is not a white man’s theology. We are being tricked out of our inheritance by those who hide the truth. If we are truly Christians then we must know that after the fall God said that there will be suffering for mankind. I’m not justifying the death of innocent children. By the way, If you were to check the Hebrew text and compare it with today’s scripture you will see that it is about 98% accurate (some meaning was lost in translation). King James (trying to be God) only put His name on the book.
