Scientists Claim Cleopatra Was Mixed

Many people have speculated about Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra’s background. She was famously portrayed by white actress, Elizabeth Taylor and is often pictured as a Greek or European woman. However, scientists have managed to recreate what her face would’ve looked like and she looks more like an African-American woman.

Not was a Euro, nor a Arab. If the “one drop rule” was to ever apply it would have been in Africa in ancient times. Regardless of what her genetic make up was of Egypt.

My last comment didn’t make clear that Cleopatra was not an ancient Egyptian because the ancient Egyptians, including the famous King Tut, were already ancient by the time Cleopatra was born. Egypt had been a state in the greater Hellenistic World ruled by the Ptolemic Dynasty for centuries by the time of Cleopatra, and the great pharaohs had been dust for centuries longer than that. The Ptolemies were inbred beyond belief by today’s standards… and Greek.
Cleopatra was not an ancient Egyptian. She was a Ptolemy, who were Greek …. and white … and incestuous, as siblings married and mated. Cleopatra, her entire family, court and society spoke Greek and were part of the Hellenistic Greek World. The ancient Egyptians’ skin color/race is debatable but there is no evidence to suggest Cleopatra was of mixed race. Had she been so the Romans would have noted the fact: we know that her lover Caesar was balding; if Cleopatra were unlike the rest of the Ptolemys it would have been noted.

Was not “MIXED”, this claim has gone from her being all white never BLACK! From what I learned in COLLEGE at the time she reigned there were no EURO CENTRIC-( WHITES or CAUCASIANS )in that part of the “WORLD” at that time. If she was mixed she was mixed with another Tribe, of BLACK African Decent. They have told this lie for so long they believe it. She was all “BLACK”. Nothing “WHITE” ever came out of Africa and this is to include Adam and Eve.
ADAM and EVE are the PARENTS of Cain and Able, whom were Black. Soloman is their Child as well, We all Know that SOLOMAN was BLACK and DAVID is his SON but the White Folk make him “WHITE”. From what I’ve read WHITES are Mutants of the BLACK and were cast ted out of the MOTHER Continent, and forced into the CAVES of Europe! Newsflash. Cleopatra Was mixed because she was born during the time when Egypt was being taken over and migrated by European. True she looked nothing like Elizabeth Taylor or some Greek woman. Halle Berry would be more accurate playing the role of Cleopatra, but sorry just because Egypt is in Afrika doesnt mean she was 100% Afrikan. Most Egyptians to date are mixed breeds and Cleopatra was one of them. Basically black ppl that think she was completely Afrikan are just as incorrect as Europeans trying to make her 100% European. Lets acknowledge what happened to Egypt w.o. getting angry or defensive. That ‘we were kings and queens’ jargon is B.S. too. Most of ya’ll woulda been peasant or working class folk. Uh, NEWS FLASH, Egypt is a country IN Africa, which is technically a CONTINENT. So whether Cleopatra was white, black, yellow, red, or brown–she is STILL considered AFRICAN.

It stands to reason that Cleopatra was mixed. Cleopatra came long after the Macedonians took control of Egypt. The Macedonians did not destroy the culture, but they did assert themselves as the rulers and took noble Egyptian wives. Cleopatra would have probably come from one of the Macedonian/Egyptian blood lines.
