AFGHANISTAN-Afghani protesters have stormed the U.N. compound in Afghanistan and killed eight staffers, beheading two, over Pastor Terry Jones recent burning of the Koran. The New York Daily News reports:

Armed with guns seized from guards and fueled by outrage over Pastor Terry Jones’ March 20 desecration of the Islamic holy text, the protesters reportedly executed five Nepalese guards and two European workers in Mazar-i-Sharif.

“Two of the killed U.N. staff were beheaded,” local police spokesman Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai told AFP.
