The “America’s Next Top Model” creator’s actual Harvard academic status was reportedly brought to light by the online publication Jezebel, which published a stinging report about the deceitful way Banks has been glorifying her certificate.

Banks, who earned her non-degree course under the school’s Owner/President Management Program, took the class, which is taught in three, three-week units at a cost of $33,000 per unit.  The program reportedly does not have any formal educational requirements and the course does not count toward any university degree or qualification.

On the other hand, the full-time Harvard M.B.A. program gives a degree after two years of completion.

Apparently, Banks has been boasting about her Ivy League education, and according to the Daily Mail, even tweeted two pictures of herself with a caption that read:

On stage at my Harvard Business School graduation! Lil blurry but SUCH an exciting moment 4 me & wanted 2 share w/u!

The second photo depicted Banks holding her “diploma” at the Harvard campus accompanied by the following words:

Although Banks graduated from high school as an honor student and never attended college, she has made incredible professional strides in her 20-plus career as a model, actress, award-winning television talk show host, reality show creator, and entrepreneur.

Sound off!
