The brawl took place on March 16 in Austin, Texas. Police investigators are not sure what set off the violent altercation.

Austin police received a phone call from the victim, Cherry Webster, telling them that Morrison had “grabbed her face, grabbed her eye, and dug her fingers up there.” Morrison allegedly stuck her fingernail into Webster’s eye socket, which might have caused the eyeball to fall out. The 20-year-old assailant then fled the scene in a vehicle, leaving Webster lying on the ground and writhing in excruciating pain.

Police were able to track Morrison down because Webster provided them with a description of the vehicle she used to get away. Officers finally pinpointed Morrison’s whereabouts and brought her into police custody for questioning. According to Officer Veneza Bremner, Morrison “admitted to getting in the altercation but didn’t know the damage that she had caused in the fight.”

Meanwhile, Webster was taken to a nearby hospital, sedated and her eye was placed back in its socket.  She will receive further treatment to determine the severity of her damaged eye. Webster will not be charged with any crimes because she is the victim, according to Bremner.

Morrison, on the other hand, was slapped with a $70,000 bail and faces a charge of second degree felony of aggravated assault causing bodily injury.
