Damian Daniels was a military veteran who was shot twice in the chest in front of his newly purchased home in Bexar County, Texas, after cops were dispatched there to perform a wellness check.
The officer who shot unarmed Michael Dean in the head on Dec. 2 has been charged with manslaughter.
Michael Dean was not armed when Temple Police Department Officer Carmen DeCruz shot him in the head for "evading" during a traffic stop, a police report said.
