Church of God in Christ in St. Louis, Missouri recently had their annual Holy Convocation event and there is disturbing video from it that has gone viral. An elderly preacher named Frances Kelly randomly points out a young man in the crowd and tells him to stay away from “sissies” and “faggots.”

This display of hatred could explain why millennials have left the church in droves. In addition, this isn’t the first time COGIC has gone viral for displays of homophobia. In November of 2014, Andrew Caldwell went viral after a COGIC preacher gave him a $100 bill when he claimed to be “delivered.”
