A Delaware judge found a 17-year-old girl guilty of criminally negligent homicide Thursday after she was caught in a violent bathroom attack at Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington that left 16-year-old Amy Joyner-Francis dead last April.
The student was charged with criminally negligent homicide following a fight between her and Joyner-Francis, as well as two other 16-year-old girls, who also have not been named because they are juveniles.
Police charged three teens in the school bathroom beating death of Amy Joyner-Francis. The medical examiner said the assault triggered a pre-existing heart condition that caused her death.
