Chicago Police officer
More allegations flew in the Laquan Mcdonald shooting case with lawyers for Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke having claimed Friday that prosecutors "misled" the jury and Dyke was "sacrificed" to an angry mob" in their latest attempt for a dismissal of charges against the cop.
Cook County Judge Donald Panarese, Jr. ordered the release of Chicago officer Lowell Houser after the cop was charged with murder in an off-duty fatal shooting. The move comes at the same time that prosecutors alleged that the officer brandished a gun and threatened the victim weeks before the deadly incident.
