A jury recently awarded $3.6 million to the family of Nicholas Robertson, a 28-year-old man who died after being shot 17 times by Los Angeles County police.
The victim was identified as Nicholas Robertson, 28, at a news conference held by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department on Sunday.
