New Brunswick, NJ– A Youtube video capturing a Rutgers University sophomore being pummeled by police has prompted an investigation. The student is facing three charges for resisting arrest, aggravated assault, and obstruction.
Elliott Marx, 20, was allegedly hit as five police officers arrested him around 1 a.m. Saturday morning, the New York Daily News reports. The officers were responding to a parking lot brawl not far from the Rutgers campus.
