Washington, D.C.– The House of Representatives voted for spending cuts Saturday, cutting $60 Billion from the budget. The House voted 235 to 189 to cut domestic projects, foreign assistance and even military programs.

“We will not stop here in our efforts to cut spending,” said Boehner in a statement released after the vote, “not when we’re broke and Washington’s spending binge is making it harder to create jobs.”

All 186 Democrats voted against the bill, while just three Republicans opposed it.
