He’s neverĀ even seen her face, but a complete stranger is about to give Anthony Cottman his life back.
Cottman will soon be able to return to work, go on vacation and walk up subway steps thanks to a woman who agreed to give the Brooklyn man her kidney.
“She is giving it to me for no other reason than I need it,” Cottman said.
The 45-year-old has been undergoing dialysis three days a week, for four hours at a time, since March 2004, when his anemia took a turn for the worse.
