F. Jacques Quinn (pictured) was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison for biting a female roommate while arguing with his girlfriend, according to the Daily News.

The 32-year-old man, who was reportedly intoxicated during the January 18th biting assault, was living with his girlfriend and another female roommate, who both remain unidentified. Quinn and his girlfriend were reportedly in the throes of a heated exchange, when his roommate got involved.

The Galveston, Texas, young man reportedly latched on to the his roommate’s arm so tightly with his teeth, that his girlfriend saw no other alternative but to hit him on the back of his head with a pot so that he would let go.

In court, the defense claimed that Quinn’s drink had been spiked with a narcotic. After Quinn was found guilty, the jurors were informed that he was practically a criminal careerist with 15 convictions under his belt, running the gamut from assault to theft to drug possession.

In addition to the maximum 20-year sentence allowed by law for Quinn’s crime that was handed down by the presiding judge, the jury fined him $10,000 as well.
