Halle Berry ex-flame, model Gabriel Aubrey, and fiance, actor Olivier Martinez, were in a violent brawl at her home on Thanksgiving Day, ending with Aubrey arrested and both men treated in the emergency room, reports TMZ.
Berry’s bitter custody battle with Aubrey has dominated the news as outrageous child support requests and bad parenting accusations flew from one side to the other. But it took another turn when a judge denied Berry’s request to move 4-year-old daughter Nahla to France to start a new life with Martinez.
As previously reported by NewsOne, two men who were charged with stalking the actress are back on the street after one was released from prison and the other escaped from a mental institution. Berry feels that it would be safer for them in Martinez’ native France, but Aubrey feels she’s just trying to take his daughter away from him.
When Aubrey showed up at Berry’s home Thanksgiving Day to bring back Nahla, Martinez attempted to hold a conversation with him. That’s when things took a turn for the worse.

Gabriel was still in the motor court (a rich person’s word for a giant driveway) when Olivier walked up to him and said, “We have to move on.”
According to witnesses, Gabriel then pushed Olivier and threw a punch at his face, but Olivier blocked it and the punch struck him in the shoulder instead. We’re told Gabriel then pushed Olivier to the ground, and Olivier cold-cocked him in the face, and a struggle ensued, ending with Olivier pinning Gabriel to the ground.
In the struggle, Gabriel suffered a broken rib, contusions on his face, and possibly a more serious head injury. Olivier may have broken his hand and suffered neck injuries as well. There are conflicting accounts as to whether Gabriel was rendered unconscious in the fight.
Police were called and Olivier made a citizen’s arrest for battery against Gabriel. Gabriel was escorted to the ER and, ironically, Olivier went to the same ER an hour later. The two were just down the hall from each other.
Aubrey was charged with misdemeanor battery with bail set at $20,000 dollars. He has since been released. An emergency protective order was allegedly issued mandating that he stay 100 yards away from Berry, Martinez and Nahla.
Aubrey’s court date is scheduled for December 13.
