Statuesque “Real Housewives of Atlanta” breakout star NeNe Leakes (pictured left) is all giddy these days because on New Year’s Eve her ex-hubby, Gregg (pictured), put a ring on it, asking her to marry him once again, and she accepted! The blond-haired diva shared her news on Thursday during a segment on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.”

NeNe laid the dramatic New Year’s Eve groundwork for her fans, which led to a buildup that left them hanging via her Twitter site. She coquettishly told fans she had answered “Yes” to a question that was posed by Gregg but would not reveal what she had been responding to:

So NeNe tweeted a series of pictures, a trail of rose petals in the hallway of her condo, strawberries, whipped cream and champagne chilling in a bucket with the initials ‘G’ and ‘N’ shaped in Hershey’s Kisses, a necklace laid out in the center of a bed and shaped into a heart, and finally a shot of herself and Gregg (pictured at top) bringing in the New Year.
NeNe and Gregg divorced in 2011, after being married for 14 years. Gregg told a radio host in 2010 that he felt NeNe’s fame had gotten to her head and that he had invested loads of money into building her career. During “RHOA’s” fifth season, Gregg is seen making a concerted effort to woo his honey back into his arms.
Apparently, the wooing worked! Congrats, you two!
