Black people using a computerAccording to a new report from the Pew Internet & American LifeEight Project, of the eight percent of the U.S. online population that uses Twitter today, the most active users are African-Americans and Latinos.

While only 2% say they use it on a “typical day,” the demographics that make up Twitter users are interesting. As for how they use Twitter: 36% check for new messages on a daily basis or multiple times per day, while 41% say they check it less than every few weeks. The remaining users say they check Twitter a few days a week.
