I dont know what truly happen and whatever did he can take that up with God. But I do know that the court system doesnt always protect those who are innocent because if that was the case then some people who were innocent would be in jail and some people who are guilty are free. I get a chuckle out of Dr. Watkins saying that Tavis opposing President Obama has NOT worked in his favor. Although I felt Tavis was a bit harsh on the President at times, President Obama hasn’t exactly been setting the world on fire. He appointed a Wall Street crowd into his cabinet, He allowed 4 Republicans and Lieberman to take control of the health care bill, and not only that–the bill is VERY watered down now. The president vacationed while the Tea Baggers had him for lunch and he reached out TOO much to Republicans. I still primarily support President Obama, and KNOW he came into a horrible situation with the utter MESS Bush/Cheney the rest of the Neo-Cons left this country in, but President O better get it together soon. ALL my friends that voted for him are NOW calling him O’bambi and saying he’s weak, and while I am ALL for being civil–especially after 8 years of Bush being an ignorant, unintelligent cowboy– there ARE times when you DO have to be forceful and let PEOPLE know YOU’RE president–the president has a LOT of time to get things going, but he really NEEDS to be more forceful–wish he’d done it with the health care bill. He’s lucky that He’s got a very unpopular Republican party, and lunatic Sarah Palin taking over the Republican party on his side–he has the wind at his back–The president HAS to get going. As for Tavis working with R. Kelley, I’m conflicted. I know Kelly MAY well be guilty of what he was accused of concerning that young lady which is bad, but you’ve got people who’ve done a LOT worse than he has done are out there speaking–Like war criminals Cheney, Bush who both started a war, killed thousands of our troops and Iraqi citizens and I won’t go INTO the mess which was Hurricane Katrina. It was shameful and disgraceful for a president/vice president to act as they did DURING Katrina.

Fact #3: Universally, it is beneficial to our society to allow a person to redeem themselves. Whether proven guilty or not, that person should be given a chance to prove and confirm their humanity, strengths and weakness included. In the real world, we know that it doesn’t actually work that way. People always want to beat you up side the head until “they” decide when enough justice has been meted. That’s is, until they slip up, commit an atrocious, henious, low-down, and unforgivable crime and start to seek redemption for themselves. “After all”, they’d argue. “Aren’t we all human?…and always subject to err?”…….
Fact #4: That’s when they seek out people like Tavis Smiley.
Fact #5: The world needs people like Tavis Smiley.

Tavis Smiley is a very intelligent guy, I totally trust him, and yes he had President Obama trumped right. lol! We had no other choice 4 president, he was our only hope, and has yet to do anything about this economy, until he shows us something, we will have to believe Tavis. R. Kelly, is great guy, a phenomenal writer, I see nothin but hatred here, its sad too see it.

He was not found innocent, he was found not guilty, there is a difference. Most of the jurors stated they thought it was him in the video but that they couldn’t identify the girl in the video. That being said, it’s not even so much about the trial. It was his history of messing with underage girls, from 3 cases settled out of court, to his marriage to Aaliyah, to the pictures found in his Orlando home, to the video that the whole world saw, to his publicist leaving him after finding out that he was sexing her daughter. Someone he practically watched grow up. How many of you would be cool with your friends fuking your kids? How many people in the hood do you know get a pass the way R. Kelly does?

And as far as him being on the defensive, I don’t think he is at all. This mofo started calling himself the Pied Piper. If you know the story of the Pied Piper than you know this nigga wasn’t exactly repenting or defending anything, he was practically bragging about it.

Some people suggest that people that don’t support R. Kelly should move on. The vast majority of those people have. They don’t listen to him, they don’t let their kids listen to him. I saw someone on another website brag about his album selling 114,000 copies, for R. Kelly, those numbers suck. And he probably would have went platinum already if not for his child molesting ways.

More than anything I just think that people that like R. Kelly want to justify their support of a pedophile. When in all honesty, you don’t have to justify playing the fool to anybody. Others just choose not to. Just make sure you keep that dude away from your kids.

I saw the video and remained STUNNED that Kelley isn’t under the jail. If i ever get into any trouble i want the R Kelly defense team. As for Tavis, he can publish whatever he wants, but I’ll be damned if i’m gonna read anything this pedophile has to say even if it is served up by someone I respect.
