    By the way…when Monique won that Oscar, the music that was playing when she came on stage was from the sound track ‘King Kong.’ This is real shyt!!!

    Diana Ross definately should have won the year she was nominated. She did an excellent job in Lady Sings the Blues, and not just on the singing scenes. Her portrail of Lady Day in the drug withdrawal scenes were very well acted.

    We ALL know that by history, our brothas and sistas have far outshone “others” in acting, yet never given their props.
