XBox Plans To Release Black College Football Game

Nerjyzed Entertainment, of Baton Rouge, plans to release the Xbox 360 version of its game, BCFx, the Black College Football Xperience, on Sept. 1, to coincide with the college football season, Chief Executive Officer Jacqueline Beauchamp said Tuesday.
The console version’s release date has been delayed for months while Nerjyzed worked out some technical issues, Beauchamp said.
“There are a lot of pieces to this game. Literally, it’s two games in one,” Beauchamp said.
In addition to the football game — which features matchups between historically black colleges and universities, or HBCUs — BCFx includes a Battle of the Bands halftime show and head-to-head drumline play.
The halftime show required developers to coordinate the movement of around 200 band members, Beauchamp said. Nerjyzed also had to make sure the drum pads used in the interactive musical portion of the game worked correctly.
Integrating all of those separate elements seamlessly was new and different, not to mention complicated, she said.

Sounds cool but if a real football fanatic ( like me ) would just watch the band play. We all know why we attend these classic games. ( See the band, eat and see other people.) I will stick with my ncaa10 and leave this game on the shelf.
I do agree that HBCU’s need to be introduced to the world in a better fashion as I got my B.S. from Alabama state. Go hornets!!! at the same time I want to see that they dont necessarily separate our schools from the bigger schools but moreso allow our schools to be better represented in terms of rankings and player skill levels on the already established games, nonetheless keep making these games and I hope they gain the support they need

But I Like The Fact That Mainstream Media Is Finally Starting To Recognize Black College Sports or HBCU Sports! Now They Need 2 Make A Black College Basketball Game, And Hopefully Release Them For Play Station!

Wow….this is a terrible idea and its not gonna go over so well in the gaming market and this is coming 4rm a lifelong gamer and a person who has degrees in software developing and computer science….usually when a game has been pushed back numerous times especially 4 tech issues, there are gonna be major glitch issues, gameplay issues and basic element issues…….this is gonna be a terrible game and da sad thing is a lot of african american ppl are gonna buy this game jus 4 da initial idea and concept instead of what makes a good game, like gameplay, mechcanics, basic game elements, the game engine used like are they a real time game engine I doubt it since its a company who develops BCF games so it doesn’t have the budget to use a sophisticated game engine so like I said its a decent concept for african americans but its gonna be terrible……I’ll stick to ncaa football 10 and by the way…..ncaa has HBCs……
Finally, a game showing the Black college experience. And to add to that…they did not leave out the game within the game, the battle of the bands I have time. I will be waiting to pick up my copy Sept 1st. AGGIE PRIDE to all my North Carolina A&T Aggies and the Blue and Gold Marching Machine!!!
