This truly is a tradgic incident. I pity her. because I feel she honnestly didnt mean to hurt him. However, my gripe is with the remaining family. The brother stated she needed to be with the children, then said all she got was three years probation. Whats it gonna be? do you want this woman to get on with her life or do you wish to see her locked away? ask your self, if it where you. She is in some serious pain over this.

Okay…let me first say that I am a big girl as well, probably about the same weight as her and my husband about 150 pounds and this incident was unfortunate and heartbreaking, but to have someone like “samsthewon” say comments like that is stupid. Here in my area we’ve had at least 3 or 4 cases where someone has killed another in a hit and run and got the same kind of punishment(probation, no jail time).

I am sorry but how much abuse could this man inflict on this woman when she out weighed him by 200 pounds.(Let’s just think about this reasonably and objectively.)
