SMFH The only people who call tea parties conspiracy theories are those that can not think for themselves, and the media. MSNBC finally announced for all you non believers that there hasn’t been any REAL money circulated since 1933, and there blaming it on the rain. The VATICAN just recently announced its ok to believe in extra-terrestrials and homosexuality. A lot of you people cant think for yourselves thats why you consider yourselves Republican or Democrat or a member of new “Tea Party”. Before you vote for a candidate find out where that candidate stands on issues important to you, theres too much of “well he’s a Democrat so let me automatically support him” or “he’s Republican so let me throw 100% support behind him”. Read some books on the economy, read some books on health care, read some books on important things and stop being tools for whatever party you are with. When Republicans are in power the Democrats bash them and vice-versa. If Obama screws up as President I will vote him out in 2012 and if he does a good job ill happily push the button for him. The problem with the Tea Party (from initial observation) is that they are less about issues and more about “taking this country back”. My response is taking this country back from what? They say “america is losing its values” and I say what values are you referring to? The Tea Party doesnt take a solid stance and because many people associate the Tea Party conservatives with the GOP conservatives thats going to hurt the GOP politically. When people read of the these Tea Party armed militias it does nothing but hurt the GOP since people associate the two. Please read people

and what we are offered as support of this claim is a half-quote that says near nothing about the headline:

“No, I don’t think we should be supporting the tea party or any other party. I’d like to investigate what you’re saying before I have any…”

and a two sentance quote that ends with this:

“But while organizers have held the tour as a way to stay front-and-center as a political force, the rallies have also attracted the kinds of mistruths, exaggerations and conspiracy theories that make Tea Party leaders cringe.”

So where does Fox News admit that the movement is FULL of “conspiracy kooks”? In fact, it seems to suggest that while there is a fringe element that is attracted to the Tea Party, that the leaders do not want that element….unless, like the author, you translate “cringe” as welcoming them in.

Congratulations on a sheer lack of ANY journalistic integrity. Sad.
