This a great article, but what you didn’t mention was the fact that 99% of these incidents of white people blaming black people for things they themselves did, involved someone using THE MEDIA to strengthen their alibis. In other words, In America, all you have to do is go on TV and say that somebody black did something bad to you, and it becomes the biggest story on the news that night and every night after that until the case is solved. I can relate to the experiences of black men being blamed for crimes that a white lady or a white person did. I do recall being blamed for a crime that a white or jewish lady reported me for but I told the Overland Park,KS police investigators that my white ex-friend set me up and framed me for a crime. Him and his white relatives where in on the crime although he was the main suspect. Although I was not charged for the crime and my discrimination case in the KS courts was dismissed. It was only dismissed because of the statue of limitations was out of time frame, other than that I can realize the horrors of being blamed for a crime that isn’t the black man’s fault originally. The stigma of placing blame on always the black guy is perpretrated by the movies, tv, and news outlets that sensationalize and play up the number of crimes that are blamed on black men. I’m not saying that black men don’t committ crimes either but there are just as many whites who committ crimes as blacks do. Either side of the label, the police, courts, media, KKK, and other racists have been taught to racial profile the black man as the suspect for centuries. This is why prejudice and discrmination exist even today because when we start to be color-blind to who committ crimes then maybe some progess will happen.

Im white and I would like to say its wrong to blame any one of any color of something that isnt true. And though it is true racism still exist today. Call up your local police Departments ask them what their call crime ratio is and you will see for your self. i read up on bonnie sweeten as i wasnt familiar with her story . guess what? girl was a paralegal and had swindled 700,000 bucks from her firms clients and her boss for tans, gym, jewelry and shopping trips. prior to that she also stole,280,000 from her ex’s dad for which she had been under investigation, thats why she ran. to pay for her getaway trip to disney she stole 12,000 from other bank accounts and assumed the id of an ex co worker to get the plane tickets. she served a 9 to 23 month sentence for this stuff. the husband claimed he didnt know what was goin on. thats a cool 1 mil she swindled, if a black man had done this he would be under the jail cell .the fact tht she blamed her kidnap on a black man just makes it even worse. girl also had 2 other kids at home when she ran. how do you leave your kids and your husband. girl was just plain evil. i still cant believe the small sentence she got for the 700,000. even i could do that on my head . if i knew i would get less than 2 years for swindling 700,000 bucks i would do it. im sorry its just too easy. id ask god for forgiveness later ..
