Following his meeting last week with President Obama regarding the racial gap in public education, Rev. Al Sharpton will host a mass education rally on Saturday (May 16) in Washington D.C.

Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will be present, as will civil rights leaders, activists, educators, young people, William T. Coleman, lead strategist and coauthor of the Brown v. Board of Education brief and Minnijean Brown Trickey, member of the “Little Rock Nine” at Central High.
