it is dumb. it looks dumb. but we have cops killing innocent people and kids dying from starvation. lets put our focus to that yall. smh.

The history of this developed in the prison culture for a few different reasons: 1. The guards would confiscate all personal items including belts and therefore would lead to pants not staying up. 2. The homosexual tendencies in prison (derived from lack of heterosexual access and just some homosexual individuals) also caused those that were wearing sagging pants to sag lower to indicate you were property of an inmate and you would “show off” yourself in such a manner.

There are other indicacies of this manner in prison, but those are the main two. If people really knew the history and the implications of this particular fashion style, I doubt it would stick around for very long, however you do have many who would do it just for the simple fact that they think it’s cool.

Moving along though, there are many other more important factors that should be addressed when it comes to this world we are living in right now including that of starvation, murders, hate crimes, disease and self-hate. I think once our focus becomes more positive, much of this negative will be a thing of the past.

Well I feel like people can wear what they want how they want. I’m not really offended by sagging pantz.. it’s just a trend, yet in jail they say it’s showing u are “available” 4 some late night bootie sooo I dont kno, just dont sag in the cell fellaz lol, not a smart move. but on the streets they get away with it.
