OBAMA=One Big Ass Mistake America

This shouldn’t be a surprise at all. Obama/Democrats are in serious trouble this November. People’s opinions are formed by what’s going on. If the overall economy is in shambles, then people will naturally assume that the current President’s policies are failures. In Ohio (A state BHO took in 2008) 52% of people polled say they would rather have Bush back as President. That’s actually crazy to me. I could see if they felt they wanted someone else, but Bush??? Just shows how fickle most voters are from BOTH parties.

Politics=Bullshyt!!

Democrats/Republicans=Good Cop/Bad Cop They both have the same goal which is the capitulation of the black community. Neither party respects the black community. One party treats you like a child making every single decision for you so that you’re virtually incapable of becoming self reliant, self sufficient. The other party wants to throw you in the middle of the water and says sink or swim. Most will drown either way.

Black people think the progressive liberals love them. Well, actually they do, as long as blacks are carrying their water and letting them make policy and control the money. Look at New York, Chicago and LA. The three largest cities once all had black mayors and now they have none. The good old white Democrats in those cities changed their party and did other foul things to elect nonblacks. If that’s love, you can have it.

Actually splitting the vote is the only way to gain leverage and power for the black community. Both parties will at least make an effort to procure the black vote. At some point, we will realize that this emotional (Republicans are bad Conservatives are racist )roller coaster were on is going in circles, going no where or even worst going backwards.

Most people want to put blame on President Obama for how the economy is now and thats not right when the economy/america is run by all government parties. And we all know thats not going to happen it took years of getting america into this mess and its going to take years to get it cleaned up. @Kir10. Well put. Unfortunately such an insightful comment won’t find much appreciation here. Most here don’t understand that dynamic you have clearly outlined. People will agree with half of your sentiment (that is negative on republicans/conservatives) while disagreeing with your critique of the progressive/liberals/Democrats.

But really, what you have described is two sides of a coin. Although they appear to be at odds with each other, where one goes the other goes too, which says the objective is clearly the same. People don’t realize that NO MATTER who or what party is in power, poor people in general, black people specifically will NEVER advance en mass the way we should!

I am A black man who voted for Obama thinking that he would put an end to police and judicial misconduct. He seems to run away from those issues. I begged Obama for over 1 & 1/2 years via email and certified mail for an investigation. Finally, I put a Youtube on called ” Obama Conspiracy Letters ” hoping to get his attention. It hasn’t happened. It seems the only way to get team Obamas’ attention is to be a conservative republican like Glen Beck. Chris Rock said it best: “I’ve got some [stuff] I’m conservative about; I’ve got some [stuff] I’m liberal about…” He also said that too many people rush to be down with Democrat or Republican, and to just “Be a PERSON,” and I always remembered that line because it’s so true.

So by joining the Republican party, these guys are only going to be further hung out to dry…just look at Michael Steele. Used as a pawn to go against Obama, but with the Republican party falling apart, look how quickly they tried to throw him under the bus.

It’s unfortunate the situation Obama’s in, because folks have such short-term memories. They conveniently forget all the crap that got us to this point between say, 2005-08. Then again, I don’t truly believe there’s that many sheeple just from what I see online (not here, but on Youtube and other news sites). I’d like to think people aren’t so stupid to think Obama was going to pull a rabbit out his hat in just 18 months.

The one thing I keep telling myself is that after their first 18 or so months in office, Reagan and Clinton both had awful approval ratings (around where Obama’s are now-low 40s), and the opposing parties took the House in Nov. ’82 and ’94, respectively. They both got reelected and left office with two of the highest approval ratings. I’m praying Obama can get a little more done and prove himself.

@Kir10. Very profound. This is what happens. People mistake pacification for compassion, caring and love. Stockholm Syndrome is the best example of how the mind can be conditioned to see your oppressor in a good light. So when that one guard gives you an extra slice of bread, or a little more water than you’re supposed to get, you start to mistake that for love. So even though he appears to be treating you a little better, you no longer see him/her as part of the machine that has you in captivity and you almost feel indebted to him. This is the trick they used on Mandela to get him to disavow his previous philosophy and his wife who stood by his side the entire time. Whites playing chess while we playing checkers.

@edwinjones1. I always find it interesting when people will openly admit that they vote for the lesser of two “evils” then are shocked when that evil is manifested. It’s almost like you’re saying, you’re cool with voting for evil as long as that evil doesn’t come back and hurt me. Unfortunately, evil is very unpredictable and you or anyone else shouldn’t be surprised whenever and where ever it manifests itself. Also, I find it interesting that when I hear Jews, Asians or any other group talk politics, I very rarely hear the words “we are satisfied with voting with the lesser of two evils.” We seem to be the only ones who have and accept that “option.”

@Nightowl358. Unfortunately, Negroes can’t seem to grasp that concept. Most smart people after years of suffering would at least look at how other groups who are doing a lot better in this system are doing it.
