The secrecy of the Bush Administration and previous conspiracies have lead many to believe that 9/11 was an inside job. Still no conspiracy theorist has come up with a legitimate theory, but many have managed to cast doubt on the official explanation. If 9/11 was really an inside job, I’m sure it would be extremely hard to hide the conspiracy. Still, several people still believe that 9/11 was an inside job or a product of a government conspiracy.
5. Thierry Meyssan
Thierry Meyssan, a left wing French journalist and activist wrote “9/11: The Big Lie” in which he claims 9/11 was set up by members of the U.S. military industrial complex. The basis of his claim is that the Pentagon was not hit by a plane, but by a missile. Meyssan started an unsuccessful campaign to have the United Nations investigate the 9/11 attacks.
4. Andreas von Bülow
Andreas von Bülow is a former German politician who has written extensively about the CIA. Von Bulow believes that the CIA was behind the Septmeber 11th attacks, and that the U.S. government made up the story about Osama Bin Laden and the 19 hijackers being behind the attacks. He wrote “The CIA and September 11” and has expressed his views on Dutch and American TV.
3. Kevin James Barret
Kevin James Barrett is a Muslim convert and self proclaimed Islamologist and Arabist and University lecturer. He believes that Islam has nothing to do with the September 11th attacks, and that the attacks were mostly likely carried out by U.S. or Western Intelligence groups.
Alex Jones is perhaps the most popular and influential of all 9/11 conspiracy theorists. He comes from the “New World Order” conspiracy theory ideology — and believes that 9/11 was a “false flag”— and that government insiders, perhaps from a secret “Illuminati” carried out the attack. Jones hosts a popular radio show and has had several 9/11 conspiracy theorists on his show, as well as popular politicians Ron and Rand Paul.
