It is hard to believe that Bow Wow, the scrawny little teenager we saw in the BET videos back in the late 1990s, has grown up and is now the baby daddy of a 1-year-old daughter, Shai. Well, of course, being a baby daddy brings issues with the baby mama.

Entertainment site TMZ is reporting that the rapper failed to disclose that he has been signed on to host the long-running hip hop show “106 & Park” on BET. During court proceedings, Bow Wow reportedly told the judge that he only makes $4,000 a month as an employee for Cash Money records. He said nothing of the new hosting gig in court.

He agreed to give the mother, Joie Chavis, $3,000 a month in child support, based on the salary figures he told the judge. So when Bow Wow goes to court in December for a permanent child support order, best believe the judge will have a few questions for the new BET personality–like, how come you didn’t say you were signing with BET?
