BDO recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Audrey to talk about her health, her children, her marriage…and what she does to look SO good!
BDO: What are some of your personal health secrets?
Well, first, I exercise. For cardio, I either run or spin for about 30-45 minutes. I also eat right… balanced meals are key to everything. I also drink lots of water and take a multivitamin.
BDO: What foods don’t you like to eat?
Audrey Griffin: “It’s All About Balance” was originally published on blackdoctor.org
I’m actually allergic to watermelon.
BDO: How do your healthy habits influence your children?
I have four kids, and my habits are a reflection of how I want them to behave when it comes to healthy living. Things I would stress to parents is the importance of going to learning about the nutrition your children need, calling their school and finding out when they’ll each lunch, making sure that they’re not hungry, and therefore making bad choices.
BDO: Do you make room for treats?
I love tiramisu! And chocolate!
BDO: Last question…what’s your secret for a healthy marriage?
My motto when it comes to marriage is: Everything you do is for him, everything he does is for you.
